Scope & readiness
Describe the current project stage, planned start-up window and work still outstanding. Identify the documents, access or other prerequisites that could affect the support assignment.
Commissioning support starts with a clear division of work. Dubai-based AeroNova Power Solutions reviews aeroderivative gas turbine assignments against the equipment, stage of work and technical support required, with responsibilities agreed before mobilisation.
A commissioning enquiry should explain where the project stands and which responsibilities need support. The review can then focus on the gap between the work already covered and the assistance being requested.
Describe the current project stage, planned start-up window and work still outstanding. Identify the documents, access or other prerequisites that could affect the support assignment.
State the disciplines and tasks for which support is needed. Explain which activities your own team or other appointed parties will cover so the proposed roles have clear boundaries.
Identify the site contact, reporting arrangements and interfaces with the operator, contractor and other service providers. Include any site entry, induction or working-hours requirements.
Set out the records, progress reporting and handover inputs expected from the support personnel. Identify who reviews the work and who holds the required approval responsibilities.
Start with the information you have. Mark unresolved items as “to be confirmed” and describe what is still being decided. The enquiry is a basis for scope discussion, not a commitment to personnel or dates.
For an LM2500 or LM6000 assignment, include the equipment configuration and relevant package details. A model name alone does not define the tasks, required experience or site arrangements.
Prepare a commissioning enquiryGive the model, configuration, site country and current stage of the work. Describe the commissioning or start-up activities for which assistance is requested.
List the support tasks, disciplines, required experience and qualifications. Identify exclusions and the responsibilities retained by the operator or other contractors.
Provide target dates, expected duration, working pattern and any known schedule constraints. Note site access, induction, travel or accommodation requirements for review.
Explain the reporting line, documents to be used and expected handover inputs. State who authorises activities and how the agreed support scope will be accepted.
Any proposal should confirm the support scope, proposed disciplines, required qualifications, dates, delivery responsibilities, exclusions and commercial terms. Personnel availability and mobilisation arrangements are reviewed for the specific assignment.
Site safety arrangements, approved procedures and operating authority must be clear before work starts. An enquiry does not authorise site work, confirm a start-up date or commit APS to a mobilisation schedule.
APS is an independent provider. Equipment model names do not imply OEM affiliation, approval or certification.
Share the equipment, project stage, required disciplines and target dates. Review your enquiry before submitting it to APS.
